Hello everyone~

Hello everyone~

Hello~ Well, I'm a sophomore in college and I'm kicking myself for starting to try and get my career track on straight. I went through many career choices as a child and marine biology just stuck. I love looking at sea creatures and my favorite animal of all time are sea turtles. I live currently live in Kansas and I can't think of much else to put.

Not much to really say about me, except I'm hoping to get back on track. Right now, I'm looking into schools that offer degree programs in marine biology so I can most of my general eds out of the way while I'm in Kansas.

I'm not too talkative, but I am trying to make an effort to be more social. I'm hoping this website will help me make wise choices and I look forward to exploring around it. Feel free to talk to me, even though I may not always answer back.

Hi there, welcome to the forums! I'll tell you a secret - when you're doing your undergrad, it really doesn't matter what you do your degree in, as long as you take a lot of math and science courses. Yes, this means calculus, statistics, physics, chemistry, earth science, etc. AS WELL as biology. And make sure you find some professors to volunteer in labs with - that's the single most important thing you can do. Anyway, let me know if you have any questions, and welcome. :)
