Helping scientist give out research

At the museum I have learn about environmental education. With the new wing there are three new labs one on The Micro world. One is a natural lab, and a computer lab. At the computer lab they help give ways for scientist give there research to the public. I will start that lab this fall. I was wondering what other ways I can help scientist give there research. I was thinking that may be a good way I can creat a job. I would like to get in touch with some marine scientist and help them get there research out. I'm still learning more and more about freelancing, home business, etc. I can't find this answer on line.
