http://www.eco.org/ is the website of The Environmental Careers Organization: helping people help the environment.

There are all sorts of job links, career links and tips, Q&As, and they publish a book called "The Complete Guide To Environmental Careers in the 21st Century"

Check it out! :D

"The more clearly we can focus our attention on the wonders and realities of the universe about us, the less taste we shall have for destruction." ~ Rachel Carson

"Why, our descendants will ask, by needlessly extinguishing the lives of other species, did we permanently impoverish our own?" ~ E.O. Wilson, The Future of Life

"The world grows smaller and smaller, more and more inter-dependent. Today more than ever before life must be characterized by a sense of Universal responsibility, not only nation to nation and human to human, but also human to other forms of life." ~ H.H. The Dalai Lama

"A human being is part of the whole, called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. We experience ourselves, our thoughts and feelings as something separate from the rest. A kind of optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from the prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty…" ~ Albert Einstein
