Yep... it comes with me... I'm a weird, sparatic, bubbly teenage girl... who is way too passionate about marine biology and everything else... and my thought process is weird too... I think coral helped too, a bit... it might have something to do with the way girls' brains work vs the way boys' brains work... (uh oh... here we go again...)

p.s. insanity does make the world go round :D

LOl Izzy! we cant start that again...then id have to say sorry again to Lupus :P But yes...im abit of the same way..i can be abit hyper...and hmm as u said weird..at times..(arent we all?) But i too am very passionate about things, especially marine biology. And it is important to state the problems as well as solutions to the problems facing the marine life and ecosystems...but this is also a forum..i think it is expected that there will be a few 'drifting' occuring. But i dont think there is any harm in it..is there?

Besides, we are getting to know alittle more about the 'mystery' posters! Arent we all friends of the sea? :) Maybe we should make a thread in Tidepool ( Dave would tell me there is already a space for it) where we can 'ramble' :)

I have to do it every once in a while

Izzy-dolphin wrote:So what... It's amusing... and it serves a purpose :) Dave, where'd all the fishes come from? I didn't see them in the smiles section... they're REALLY cute :) And I agree... It's nice to see people (of both genders) admitting that the other is better at some things... human nature can be fixed up :)

Isn't getting off topic good for you every once in a while? lol

Lovelyjolie pm'ed me with them, cool huh? They should be available in the editor now....

:squid:

Nothing wrong with getting off topic, each topic's a stream of consciousness and I am the only police around here... everyone can unsubscribe to a topic anytime and it doesn't happen all the time anyway. Enjoy yourselves.

Extending a sea ethic would mean recognizing the ocean’s importance to the continued existence of life on our planet and to human futures. From this recognition would flow an appropriate sense of moral imperative, commitment, and urgency—urgency toward ending overfishing and wasteful bycatch and aggressively rebuilding depleted ocean wildlife populations, stabilizing human effects on world climate, slowing habitat destruction, stemming global transport and accidental introduction of "alien" species, curbing the flow of contaminants and trash, developing sustainable seafood farming, cultivating an informed approach to the seafood marketplace, and implementing networks of protected areas in the sea. - Dr. Carl Safina
