Anyone HELP ME OUT PLEASE!!!

I have 12 credits toward my associates degree. But I need to finish out that degree and doing so online. What should I get my associates degree in. Or does it not really matter what I take as long as I get all my credits to get my associates degree. Please help me out. Right now I am going to start classes in criminal investigation. But I don't think that will help me in the long run so trying to find another school with associate degree that could help me more then that one. You think I should do that one or should I do another in like Science general studies or something. i have no idea and what to get this done because I am 25 and have to get my PHD to work with the animals that I want to work with and that is a lot more school years yet to come. And I aint getting any younger. Please if you can help me out I badly do need the help. Tell me what you think would be the best degree for associates degree. I want to work with endangered animals Breeding health stuff like that. Keeping them going and keeping them healthy and keeping them in there environment. If you got any thoughts post them here I am wide open to anyone's thoughts. I also want to work with ocean life so a degree that would let me do both would be awesome but not sure if there is one. So any help like I said would be awesome.

If you're interested in criminal investigation, you might look around and see which schools offer Marine Forensics. It's a new and growing field, as I understand it, and I think it's offered at least in Maryland and Florida.
