School Project Help?

Postby SnowFlower » 10/25/12

Hi, I'm in grade 9 science and for ecology my friend and I are doing a project on Leatherback Sea Turtles. If anyone has any information, facts or anything else that you think would help, that'd be great!! You can email me at megster98@live.ca or post on here. Thanks so much :) I really appreciate it!!

I think you can find out most of what you need to know by using either Google or Google Scholar, which searches scientific articles. Something cool you can mention in your project and share with your classmates is the Great Turtle Race. A few leatherbacks were captured and tagged with satellite tags so their travels could be monitored. People can donate money to "bet" on the winner, and it goes to help fund turtle research. A few years ago, one of my former professors had her class bet on Wawa Bear, who weighs more than 1300 pounds! http://www.conservation.org/great_turtl ... /main.aspx
